Health Way SD's Tea - Original Flavour - A traditional Chinese formula this unique tea blend relies upon the stimulating effects of Senna leaf to provide relief from occasional constipation. The active components in senna extracts are believed to irritate the wall of the colon to promote peristalsis and evacuation. Senna may also enhance intestinal fluid accumulation and increase the moisture content of stool by inhibiting electrolyte and water reabsorption from the colon. For short term use only.

Ingredients

Medicinal Ingredients:
Each tea bag contains:
Senna Leaves (Senna alexandrina) 1.6 g
Senna Leaves extract 31 mg (Sennosides 6 Mg)

Non-medicinal ingredients:
Roasted dandelion root, Chamomile flower, Sweet orange peel, Licorice root, Spearmint leaf, Cassia cinnamon bark, Marshmallow root, Papaya leaf, Stevia leaf, natural orange and cinnamon flavour

Dosage:
Adults: Take 1 tea bag once daily. Preferably after dinner, pour 1-2 cups of boing water over tea bag, cover and steep for 2 minutes. Produces action in 6- 12 hours

Cautions:
Short term use only (1 week) Do not use in the presence of bowel constriction or obstruction or inflammatory bowel disease.
