Natural Factors Echinamide Fresh Herb Extract Clinical Strength - A pharmaceutical grade, 100% natural remedy that reduces the severity and duration of viral infections, such as the common cold. Stimulates the non-specific immune system via standardized levels of its three key immune-active compounds – alkylamides, polysaccharides and cichoric acid. Echinamide is the only antiviral that combines these compounds in a proprietary ratio, capturing each of their unique immune stimulating effects to produce an optimal medicinal benefit.

Ingredients

Each softgel contains:
ECHINAMIDE® (Echinacea purpurea*) standardized extract 2.9:1 (aerial/roots) 250 mg  
(Equivalent to 725 mg crude herb)
*Organically grown

Non-medicinal Ingredients:
Softgel (gelatin, glycerin, purified water, carob), non-GMO sunflower oil, yellow beeswax, non-GMO sunflower lecithin.

Dosage:
At first sign of infection, take 5 softgels daily or as directed by a health care practitioner.
Preventative use:
For immune system support throughout the year, take 1 softgel daily or as directed by a health care practitioner.

Cautions:
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, collagenosis or multiple sclerosis, or if you are taking immunosuppressants. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family. Hypersensitivity (e.g., allergy) has been known to occur, in which case discontinue use. Keep out of the reach of children.
