Natural Factors - PS Phosphatidylserine

Natural Factors PS Phosphatidylserine - 100 mg - Phosphatidylserine (PS) belongs to a class of nutrients called phospholipids, which are fats that play an integral role in cell membrane function and structure. We need our membranes to filter nutrients in and out, to communicate with other cells and to regulate cell growth. PS is crucial for the maintenance of healthy cell membranes throughout the body, but it’s most highly concentrated in the nerve cells of our brains. Unfortunately, as we get older, our production of PS decreases, which can lead to cognitive decline. Research into supplemental PS shows that it can support brain function, especially with respect to tasks that require memory, vocabulary and concentration, as well as improve mood and reduce stress. Studies also point to benefits for Alzheimer’s patients.

Disclaimer :
We've had some recent inquiries about our Phosphatidylserine. They have let us know that the oily/slippery texture that has been reported can occasionally occur due to the natural oil content of the softgel and its ingredients. While this may affect the feel of the capsules, it does not impact the product’s quality, safety, or effectiveness. To explain this texture further:  this is likely due to residual MCT oil remaining on the softgel surface after encapsulation. So, it is likely that the newer batches have this variation, which might make it seem like the softgels have leaked, but it is just the residual oil on the softgel. We have also received some feedback regarding the colour and texture.
QA have investigated and found that the raw material ranges in light yellow to brown, so the colour variation is to be expected and does not impact the safety or efficacy of the product.
Along with our QA team, we also use ISURA, an independent third-party testing and certification organization that verifies supplement identity, potency, purity, and contaminant levels using advanced laboratory methods.
