Traditional Medicinals - 16 bags Traditional Medicinals - Organic Everyday Detox Lemon Tea

Traditional Medicinals Organic Everyday Detox Lemon Tea - Burdock is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as an alterative to help remove accumulated waste products from the body; Stinging nettle is used in Herbal Medicine as a nutritive tonic.
Ingredients
Each teabag contains:
Organic Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) 225 mg
Organic Cleavers herb (Galium aparine) 225 mg
Organic Stinging nettle (Urtica dioica) 450 mg
Organic Burdock root (Arctium lappa) 450 mg
Non-medicinal Ingredients:
Organic lemon myrtle leaf (Backhousia citriodora).
Directions:
Pour 240 ml freshly boiled water over 2 tea bags and steep, covered, for 10-15 minutes. Gently squeeze the tea bags to release the remaining extract. Drink 1 cup 2 times daily.
Cautions:
Consult a healthcare practitioner before taking if you have diabetes. There is limited evidence from preclinical studies that burdock may have hypoglycemic activity. Use by adults with renal failure and/or diabetes, and/or heart failure should be avoided because of possible complications due to hyperkalemia. Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
Do not use if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family, such as burdock or dandelion, or if you are allergic to stinging nettle. If hypersensitivity or allergic reactions occur, discontinue use. Do not use if you have gall bladder disorder, or obstruction of the biliary tract, acute gallbladder inflammation, or in the case of active peptic ulcer. Discontinue use if you develop symptoms of liver trouble. Do not use if you have liver disorders, and/or bowel obstruction. Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
In sensitive individuals, mild gastrointestinal upset (nausea, vomiting and diarrhea) or allergic reactions (itching, exanthema, hives) may occur from use of stinging nettle. The frequency is not known. Discomfort due to gastric hyperacidity may occur after taking herbs that contain bitter substances like dandelion.
